
Certification confirms unified ST 2110 and IPMX development on a single FPGA platform, as Titanium Apps also earn IPMX certification with new Privacy Encryption Protocol (PEP) and uncompressed HD support
Louvain-La-Neuve, Belgium — September 02, 2026— intoPIX, the technology leader in low-latency video compression and AV-over-IP solutions, today announced that its Titanium FPGA SoC EDK has successfully completed IPMX certification testing. The milestone confirms that OEMs building cameras, encoders, decoders, gateways, and displays on the Titanium FPGA SoC EDK can now ship products that are fully compliant with the IPMX specification (VSF TR-10 series), the AV-over-IP standard bringing broadcast-grade IP media to the professional AV market.

One Platform for ST 2110 and IPMX Development
The Titanium FPGA SoC EDK is intoPIX's development platform for OEMs and integrators who need to bring IP-based video products to market quickly, on a single codebase that covers both broadcast (SMPTE ST 2110) and professional AV (IPMX) requirements. Built around intoPIX's JPEG XS codec, the platform combines the TicoXS FIP core, SMPTE ST 2110-22 transport, NMOS IS-04/05/09/11 discovery and connection management, and PTP and non-PTP timing modes in a single, compact FPGA footprint. For manufacturers, this means one integration effort instead of two parallel development tracks for broadcast and ProAV, shorter time to market, and a smaller bill of materials, while delivering visually lossless, ultra-low-latency compression at resolutions from HD to 4K.
Achieving IPMX certification validates that products built on the Titanium FPGA SoC EDK will interoperate seamlessly with the growing ecosystem of certified IPMX senders, receivers, and controllers — giving OEMs confidence to design in the platform for cameras, production switchers, extenders, and AV-over-IP infrastructure across corporate, education, government, and entertainment venues.

Titanium Apps Also Certified, With New PEP and Uncompressed HD Support
Alongside the FPGA SoC EDK, intoPIX's Titanium Apps software suite — TitaniumViewer and TitaniumShow — has also achieved IPMX certification on Windows. The latest release adds two new capabilities requested by integrators: Privacy Encryption Protocol (PEP) support, based on VSF TR-10-13, which encrypts IPMX streams for content protection in shared or public network environments; and uncompressed HD streaming over SMPTE ST 2110-20 with TitaniumViewer, giving users the option to get uncompressed video alongside JPEG XS-compressed workflows within the same application.
Together, these updates let integrators turn standard PCs and laptops into certified IPMX sources and receivers, with the flexibility to choose compressed or uncompressed transport and the added security of encrypted streams, without any additional hardware.

Meet intoPIX at IBC2026
intoPIX will demonstrate the newly certified Titanium FPGA SoC EDK and Titanium Apps at IBC2026 (Booth #8F85), taking place 11–14 September at the RAI Amsterdam. Visitors will be able to see live IPMX interoperability demonstrations, including PEP-secured streams and uncompressed HD over ST 2110-20.
