intoPIX wins a Technology and Engineering Emmy® Award for its standardization and productization work for JPEG 2000 (J2K) interoperability
In July 2014, intoPIX was named a winner of the 2014 Emmy® Award for Technology and Engineering for its work in the development of VSF TR-01, the recommended practice for transporting video with JPEG 2000 Broadcast Profile in MPEG-2 TS over IP Networks.

The Walloon Brabant orchid
Each year, Walloon Brabant rewards citizens and associations who have distinguished themselves in various fields of activity (art, culture, sport, economy, science ...) during the Orchid Ceremony.
Orchid is the symbol of the energy and the entrepreneurial spirit.
These are women and men who, in their fields, their trades and especially their passions, have unanimously contributed to the prosperity and the brilliance of Walloon Brabant. In their own way, they set an example, opened minds or began a new reflection on the importance of believing in your dreams.
IntoPIX has been honored for the development of a new image compression format, JPEG XS. This is the first time that a Belgian company has created a compression algorithm that meets the international ISO standard.

IPX-TICO-8K : Solving the challenge to carry 8K signals over cost effective network infrastructures.
intoPIX has developed new TICO compression IP cores managing 8K resolutions. The cores offer unique performances at a very light implementation cost for handling HD, 4K and 8K content.
The technology is particularly suitable for reducing bandwidth and preserving image quality without any delay in new 8K applications. Being successfully implemented by several AV equipment manufacturers to support next-generation video formats, TICO-8K was selected among the finalists
of ISE's Best of Show Award 2017 by TVTechGlobal.
