MIPI Alliance develops interface specifications helping technology improvements for mobile and mobile-influenced devices. These specifications allow to meet the stringent operating conditions required in mobile devices: high-bandwidth performance, low power consumption and low electromagnetic interference.

Members of the organization include handset manufacturers, device OEMs, software providers, semiconductor companies, application processor developers, IP tool providers and test equipment companies. Sony, Intel, Xilinx, Samsung, Toshiba ... and many others are active members of the MIPI alliance. Find here the full list of members.

intoPIX has created innovative image processing and compression IP-cores that are perfectly in line and complementary with the quest of MIPI, for mobile and automotive use cases. Our IPs are able to manage more pixels, preserve quality with no latency, save cost & power and simplify connectivity from sensor to display

"We bring further capabilities to MIPI users using the disruptive lightweight low memory sensor compression TICO-RAW, but also thanks to JPEG XS, the new low-complexity low-latency lossless compression standard, co-created by intoPIX" declared Gael Rouvroy, CEO & Director of Technology.
