The primary objective of this new VSF TR-08 is to address LAN, WAN and cloud applications and enable interoperability between products from different equipment manufacturers. It supports the transport of JPEG XS Video in ST 2110-22.

IPMX (Internet Protocol for Media Experience) is the open standard for AV-over-IP to enable the carriage of JPEG XS compressed and uncompressed video, audio and data over IP networks. It includes provisions for control, copy protection, connection management and security.
